Broderick is a great neighborhood for walking through time. We have the CalLSTRS modernist pyramid at one end of the spectrum and classic Victorians at the other. This is peaceful place to stroll and one of the first areas people find when they try out Sacramento.
When you think of great cities like San Antonio a big part of their charm is the fantastic riverfront urban area with shops and restaurants right on the waterway. This short part of the Sacramento riverfront is the only area that has gotten that magic working. River walk and Old Town across the river both are a joy to stroll. This is only the beginning of a great civic center that can only grow better as more places are created. Lets extend it all the way down to the barn.
